Per Warrant Article #3 of the 2017 School District Ballot, The School Board is leading the development of a School Building Use Committee. The purpose of this Committee is to “study the long-term enrollment projections and consider how to best use the current school district properties to best meet the educational needs of Rye students while striving for fiscally responsible proposals.”
The committee is seeking one RES (1) parent, one (1) RJH parent and two (2) citizens-at-large to participate. If you are interested in being considered for this Committee, please submit a letter of intent and qualifications to Superintendent Sal Petralia at [email protected] by Friday, 5/26. It is our hope to have the selections made by Friday, June 2. Thank you for your consideration.
Please note: The committee will include other members such as teachers, school board members, Selectman and Budget Committee members.
