  1. Enrollment at the two schools is now 431, compared to a capacity of 400 students at Rye Elementary School, and 280 students at Rye Junior High School.
  2. Between 2011 and 2019, there is projected to be a decline of 156 students at the two schools, or about 30 percent.
  3. While live birth data has been used to project kindergarten enrollments, the former is of no predictive value.
  4. Greenland is going to full-day kindergarten. The SAU 50 pre-school will be moving to Rye Elementary School to accommodate that.

5.  A resident warned of basing decisions on faulty hypotheses.  Enrollment from 1983 to 1993 plummeted to below what it is now, only to rebound.
