The Annual Holiday Parade is held on a Sunday in early December along Washington  Road from Webster at Rye to the Rye Junior High School. It is sponsored by the Town of Rye coordinated by the Rye Fire Fighters Association<\/p>\n
and the Rye Lions Club.<\/p>\n
Under the direction of the Energy Committee, a summer farmers’ market begins in mid-June. The vendors have been Applecrest Farm (vegetables, fruits, baked goods), Hurd Farm (beef, pork, chicken, sausage), Keper Connell’s Lobsters, Rosie’s Cupcakes, Rye Ridge Nursery (plants and herbs), Seaview Farm (Bison – see Facebook page to order items from Seaview), Serenity Cafe (fresh pasta salads, quiche), Southbrook Farm (lamb products), Moor Farm (organic flour, honey, veal), Bow Wow Bones (homemade dog treats) , Zach’s Farm (pumpkins, squash, vegetables  –  ask  him  about  his  corn maze!),Waffle Lollies, Coastal Creamery and the Rye Group selling freshly baked goods, eggs and vegetables.  Contact Susan at sorazi3@comcast.net <\/a>for further information.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A collaboration of the Town of Rye Recreation Department, the Rye Art Study Group, the Rye Driftwood Garden Club and Webster at Rye, Rye Art in Bloom is held annually in April. It is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The  Memorial Day Ceremony is held annually in the Central Cemetery surrounding the flag.
