Similar case: On February 20, 2018, the Hillsborough Superior Court ordered a reduction in Weare, NH default budget because the default budget included a contract never approved by voters.  It held that the “effect of including the challenged contracts in the default budget is the appropriation of money by the governing body without any meaningful input by the voters of the town.”  Kurk v. Clow, Case 216-2018-CV-00086.<\/p>\n
