LPR Public Meeting (Master Plan) and (Land Development\nRegulations) updates<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nSummary: Beginning in October 2018, the\nLPR committee has been meeting on a monthly basis (sometimes twice). Until recently, it was difficult for the\neditorial board of the Rye Civic League to provide a summary from the meeting\nminutes, as those were “buried†with old minutes (from 2016). As the meeting minutes of the LPR meetings\nhave recently “surfaced†the RCL is filling a gap by summarizing – meeting by\nmeeting – key points of the LDR updates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
October 3, 2018, LRP\nmeeting minutes summary.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Julie Labranche, from the Rockingham Planning Commission\n(RPC) is assisting the Planning Board to completely rewrite the Land\nDevelopment Regulations (LDR). [At the\nBOS July 23rd<\/sup>, 2018 meeting, the Selectmen approved the budget for\nthe rewrite allocating up to $ 2,000 for public outreach and a workshop].<\/p>\n\n\n\n In conjunction, Julie Labranche is conducting an audit and\nworking with DPW, Dennis McCarthy, to update regulations for stormwater management,\nerosion\/sediment control and illicit discharge. She is working with Dennis McCarthy on the\nMS-4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Julie Labranche stated that the current LDR is very outdated\nand the application process very complicated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n General discussion regarding the current LDR and that\nmembers should go through the LDR and flag areas that need to be changed as a\nstarting point for this update. <\/p>\n\n\n\n There was discussion about educating members of the Planning\nBoard regarding the MS-4 Permit and the New Regulations. A new section in the LDR should be added to\nthat effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Julie Labranche stated that she collapsed section 300 and\n400 into one section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Discussion regarding MS4 and the IDDE Ordinance, which was\ndiscussed at the January Planning Board meeting and failed to be moved to a\nwarrant article.
