In late March Peter Michaud of the State Dept of Historic Resources inspected Town Hall and then spoke to a joint meeting of the Rye Heritage Commission and the Board of the Rye Historical Society. Three priorities for town hall came from Michaud’s presentation:<\/p>\n
1. Insulate under the roof<\/p>\n
2. The windows are in good shape, but it is necessary to seal around them where much heat escapes<\/p>\n
3. Have new combo storm\/screen windows made to replace the ineffective ones on now.<\/p>\n
