TOWN OF RYE MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY & PARADE

On Monday, May 28, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. the Town of Rye will conduct a Memorial Day Ceremony at Central Cemetery (beside Rye Town Hall, 10 Central Road, Rye, NH).  The Ceremony will begin with a parade from the Veterans Monument and end on the green at Central Cemetery.  The program will include the pledge of allegiance, invocation, patriotic music, guest speaker, presentation of poster and writing contest awards, wreath placement and benediction.

The Town of Rye has lost soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines and merchant seamen in armed conflicts and the American Revolution.  The Town also remembers on this occasion those firemen and police officers who were lost in the line of duty.  All residents are encouraged to attend.

In the event of rain the Ceremony will be located at Rye Congregational Church.  For more information contact Rye Recreation at 964-6281.
