Rye Junior High School will be having its 6th Annual Harvest Festival on Tuesday, October 21st from 6-8pm.
This is a FREE community event, where you can enjoy homemade soups and desserts, where some of the items used in the soups came from the two gardens cared for by Rye Junior High students. The meal includes hand-pressed cider and corn bread made by the students too.
Students will artwork is on display, Moon rocks are available for viewing, and for more fun, participate in the Contra Dancing!
Please visit our Harvest Fest supporters. As of October 8th, they are Dodge’s Agway of Hampton Falls, Tate and Foss, 603 Creative Studio, Outdoor Pride, Sea View Technologies, Greenside Up, Rolling Green, Nancy’s Nest, Nature’s Outpost, The Hungry Horse, Applecrest Farm and many Rye families.
While the event is free, we welcome families supporting this event by purchasing raffle tickets for our fundraiser. Prizes include:
“Plant, Water and Grow” 2 raised beds with all the supplies needed,
“For the Birds” a collection of bird houses, a bird bath, bird seeds and other related items, and
“An Apple a Day” a variety of fruit baring items, such as apple, blueberries and raspberries and other related items.
All prizes valued at $500. Tickets will be available to purchase the night of the event for $5 each or 6 for $25 and 13 for $50. All proceeds benefit the RJH Community Garden. Please come and enjoy the harvest from the gardens while reconnecting with the community and supporting the RJH Community Garden.
