Pulpit Rock Tower open to Public Saturday June 1st

Pulpit Rock Tower (Rye, NH) will again be open to the public on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 11AM-3PM. Volunteers from the Friends of Pulpit Rock Tower and NH Fish and Game Dept. will be on hand to guide visitors, answer questions and explain further the history and significance of Pulpit Rock Tower.   All levels will be open except the roof deck (due to safety regs). Visitors may climb the tower, learn about its history and take in the amazing views from the observation windows. Winding stairs and ladders must be climbed to reach the observation areas.  For safety reasons, visitors must be at least 42” tall; sorry, no children may be carried and no sandals may be worn.
.
Please park on Ocean Boulevard (Route 1A) and walk down Neptune Drive to the tower access path.  There are a few spaces for the handicapped only adjacent to the tower path. In the event of steady rain the event will be canceled.
.
(Tax deductible) donations will be gratefully accepted- suggested donation $5/person, $10 family.  All proceeds go towards the upkeep of the Tower.
The Friends of Pulpit Rock Tower needs volunteers to assist with the tours, greeting visitors, accepting donations, etc.  No experience of prior knowledge necessary.  If you can help for all or part of the time, please respond to this email.  Thank you in advance!
